Young Families at Beth Am (YFBA) is a group created to serve families with children newborn to 6 years old. Our goal is to help parents with young children connect and grow through educational, social, and cultural events, in order to create and sustain a Jewish life. We offer monthly programs for families and have annual get-togethers for just parents, too.
Temple Beth Am also has two services a month tailored for young children which are open to everyone, whether TBA members or not: Kinder Kabbalat on the first Friday of the month at 6:00 PM and Tot Shabbat on the fourth Saturday of the month at 9:15 AM.
YFBA is based out of Temple Beth Am, but you do not need to be a member to participate in this group. Everyone is welcome! Join our email list by filling in your email address at the right, then selecting "Young Families" in the next window.
You can also join Young Families at Beth Am on Facebook to keep up-to-date with our events and late-breaking information.

Toddlers and pre-schoolers, bring your favorite grown-up to TBA every Thursday for Jewish songs and stories with Betsy Dischel from PJ Library.
You do not need to be a member of Temple Beth Am to participate in Young Families. Contact our Director of Community Engagement, Alexis Kort, with any questions. Our co-chairs are parents and volunteers, Theresa Glatstein and Melanie Raphan.
